Nomatrix began in 1997 when John (Guitar) and Hugh-bob
(Bass) decided to
start a band. With many friends playing on Drums, Nomatrix finally settled on Nicky
Brazier.
1999 - The demo "Reality Sucks the Fun out of Playtime" was recorded with Nicky Brazier (R.I.P). 2001 - John De Tempo was enlisted as Drummer for the EP "I'm Loser!". 2002 - Toured Europe 2004 - Eamonn O Toole joined the band on Drums and the first album "Induce Vomiting" was released. 2006 - The second album "Ugly" was released. 2008 - Self titled EP was released. 2013 - Split 7" with First Time Riot (England) and John De Tempo returning to the drums. 2017 - New line up - John (Vocals/Guitar), Hugh (Bass/Vocals), Micky (Guitar/Vocals) & Tig (Drums) 2019 - Struggle with Momentum on LAMBPAIGN - Ireland (Deadlamb Records Compilation) 2019 - Throughput EP 2021 - Split with Future Hate (USA) 2022 - Assemblage - Compilation of everything from 2013 to 2022 plus some demos and new version of 2008's MYOPIA UNIFORM. 2024 - Reawaken - New album - Back to a three piece band. |
